Yoga for Pregnancy

Prenatal yoga offers women a time to quiet the mind and tune into the miracle that is unfolding within them moment by moment. Through our yoga practice we discover our rich inner wisdom as women that will allow us to birth with grace. Tuning into our bodies and our babies week after week gives us an awareness and confidence that we will carry throughout the journey into motherhood.

 

Each class incorporates Pranayama (breathing techniques), Asanas (yoga poses), Conditioning Movements, Savasana (relaxation), and heart-felt discussion about pregnancy, birth and mothering in our world today. Classes are specifically designed to meet the needs of pregnancy and modifications are readily made to suite the individual.

Biography

MarySue Henneberry, CYT

MarySue Henneberry has been practicing yoga for 13 years and received her 200 hour Interdisciplinary Flow Yoga teacher certification in 2001 with Don and Amba Stapleton. During her second pregnancy, MarySue trained with Colette Crawford of the Seattle Holistic Center and continues her studies there. MarySue and her husband, Jason, welcomed their first child in 2007 and celebrated the birth of their second at home in 2008. They are now overjoyed as they await the birth of their third in the Fall of 2010! MarySue looks forward to sharing her passion for Yoga, children, pregnancy, and mothering with you soon!
